Twelve Beads to Celebrate 12 Steps
I wanted a way for 12 Step Members to celebrate recovery and sobriety for themselves and with each other that did not shout “I’m an alcoholic” or “I’m in a 12 Step Program”.
You can only have so many AA mugs and T-shirts, or Plaques for the wall. And although there is a LOT of AA Jewelry out there, most of it has ONE thing in common…
It all lets EVERYONE know you are in recovery.
And while that IS a wonderful thing… and in all honesty, those little gifts DO motivate and inspire a lot of “new comers” to the program, most of us” Old Timers” tend to have outgrown that stage.
So, when I looked for Recovery Anniversary Jewelry to celebrate my own 6, 8 10, 15, 20, and then 25th year milestones in recovery, one of the MOST, if not THE most important part of my life… I just couldn’t find anything I would have wanted to wear daily at that point.
Jewelry your family, friends, and sponsor could give to you, tasteful, quality, well-made gemstone jewelry without branding a “AA” on your neck, ears, or wrist for all at work or church to see.
Recovery is a private matter on the public level.
THIS IS PERSONAL JEWELRY.
In fact, it’s SO discrete, that ONLY you will know. You might call it “Anonymous Jewelry”. You buy it for what it means to you, what step or principle it reminds YOU of, and to celebrate how far YOU have come.
No one else will have any idea that it is “recovery jewelry”!
I mean, when you think about it, what could be MORE appropriate than Anonymous Jewelry for Anonymous people? Ya gotta love it!
If you’d like to email me and let me know what you think of the idea of Recovery Celebration Jewelry, I read every single email I receive.
Fondly, and with gratitude to all of YOU.
I would not be here without you.
PS. I DO include a printed sheet with the 12 Steps, the Sobriety Stones used in that item, and a business cards announcing “SobrietyStones Spiritual Recovery Jewelry” in every package, unless you ASK me not to include it.
PSS. I can add any AA charm of your choice to ANY Sobriety Bracelet or Necklace, and I also have a small “tag”, a little sterling silver “brand” tag that says “sobrietystones” that I can add if you want the recipient to “understand” that its Recovery Jewelry.
*Sobriety Stones Spiritual Recovery Jewelry is solely provided to support a personal recovery program by continuing 12th Step work, keeping it green, celebrating sobriety, and reaching out to the alcoholic who still suffers.
